Hugo’s latest project is transforming a historic location into a boutique hotel. Built in the 1700’s, 13 San Carlos was once home to the wealthiest family on the island. Known as Casa Ignasi Wallis, this Spanish colonial super villa is the epitome of old world luxury and timeless elegance.
13 San Carlos is located in the historic district of Ibiza Town known as Dalt Vila. Winding cobble stone streets guide you through the scenic neighborhood. In 1999, it was declared a UNESCO heritage site, drawing thousands of visitors a year. It is a vibrant area, offering a wide variety of shopping, dining and entertainment.
What attracted Hugo to this project was restoring the neglected building to its former glory. The four-story property has tall, arched windows with iron balconies, a majestic entranceway and elegant façade. Additional features include 3m high ceilings, private garden and rooftop terrace with a stunning panoramic view of the island.
The hotel will include 16 suites, private dining and a rooftop bar where guests can watch the sun set over the Mediterranean. 13 San Carlos has it all: historic impact, prime location and endless potential.
